Patrick Onghena

Patrick Onghena is professor of educational and behavioral statistics and methodology at KU Leuven, Belgium. His research interests include single-case experimental designs, distribution-free statistical inference, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, mixed methods research, and research on statistics education and probabilistic reasoning. He wrote the position paper on “Replicability in the empirical social, behavioral, and educational sciences” for the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts and, together with Joos Vandewalle, he coordinated the Thinkers’ “Programme on Reproducibility and replicability in science“.​
